From the time she was a young girl, Gretchen DiNapoli has found design inspiration in all things beautiful. Whether it was a floral arrangement on her family’s dining room table, the sweet scent of lavender permeating from the garden, or the braided piping on her mother’s living room sofa, Gretchen’s design style has come to embody “classic elegance”. Her flair for romantic styling initially evolved from her work with Ralph Lauren in Beverly Hills. Gretchen then went on to work underneath the guiding hand of noted interior designer, Kathryn Ireland in Santa Monica, assisting in the design of numerous celebrity homes.
Gretchen has developed a flair for clean lines, stylish accents, and personalized accessories. Based on her philosophy that home design reaches far beyond the furnishings, fabrics, and paint colors, Gretchen has developed a keen understanding of how lighting, accessories, and floral design all work together to enhance the ambiance of a home.
As a result, her projects have been recognized by editors at Romantic Country Homes and Mary Engelbreit’s Home Companion. In addition, Gretchen has provided floral and accessory design services for major political, charity, and social events. Gretchen believes that people are at their happiest and most inspired when they are surrounded by beauty. Gretchen’s personalized approach to lifestyle design is achieved by combining the personal taste of the client with her own distinctive style and beauty.
